A - True Waist
B - Waistband

For Uniqlo jeans, please use method A. Measure the smallest part of your waist, not where you wear your jeans! Therefore, if a pair is tagged as size 26 and your true waist measurement is the same in inches, the jeans should fit. In between sizes? Sizing down is recommended.
